I provide a range of creative art and writing workshops and events for children and adults. No two workshops ever look exactly the same as I try to meet the specific needs/interests of the groups I am working with. SCHOOLS + LIBRARIES
I provide book readings and creative writing and art workshops for children in schools, libraries, nurseries, and at literary festivals. I am happy to work across all ages and have experience working with small groups, classes and assemblies.
RESIDENCIES
In addition to school visits, I enjoy working over longer periods with schools through author/artist residencies. Previous schools I have been in residence at include: Cranhill Primary, Castlemilk Primary, and Anderston Primary School.

RESIDENCIES
Scottish Book Trust Author in Residence, Cranhill Primary
From August 2025 50 June 2026, I was a Scottish Book Trust Author in Residence at Cranhill Primary School in the east end of Glasgow. During our time together, I led creative writing sessions in their local forest and providing printmaking workshops using leaves and feathers the children have found outside. I then led the children through a series of character design and story workshops, which resulted in the creation of their very own picture book, Roberto’s Big Surprise, inspired by what they discovered in the forest.
The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Artist Residence at Anderston Primary School
From January to June 2026, I was commissioned to work Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow to creatively explore the work of John J. Audubon’s Birds of America with the pupils of Anderston Primary School. We experimented with a variety of different mediums and artistic techniques while exploring environmental themes and questioning some of the more problematic aspects of Audubon’s work together. At the end of our time together, the pupils championed their local wildlife in their own Audubon-inspired book titled The Birds of Anderston.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow
In 2025, I facilitated a winter wellbeing workshop for the RCPSG staff team. Inspired by John James Audubon’s The Birds of America—which they have on display in their library—I led the staff through a mindful afternoon of crafts, during which they created their own paper bird ornaments.
RCPSG x Glasgow Association for Mental Health
As part of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow’s Enhancing Audubon programme, I ran a series of community engagement workshops inspired by the work of John J. Audubon for members of the Glasgow Association for Mental Health. Over the course of two months, I facilitated a series of bespoke workshops exploring Audubon’s work through printmaking, painting, and drawing. These sessions included cyanotype printmaking at Woodlands Community Garden and drawing from the taxidermy collection at the Glasgow Museums Resource Centre.
